Shape Poem:

Copy-Paste:

Murdered By Their Tongues
Threatened by a mental
That spreading gossip did.
And murdered by their tongues.

Whatever between them did exist,
That ruined their happiness...
And long loving relationships,
Had been murdered by their tongues.

Murdered by their tongues,
Abandoned good deeds are left undone.
In big numbers.

Murdered by their tongues,
Some people had to run...
To find their comfort.

Murdered by their tongues,
Some choose to begin to run...
To find their comfort,
And unencumbered by the numbers.

They've been murdered by their tongues.
Stubborn these people,
Who've been murdered by their tongues.
Unconscious people,
Who are murdered by their tongues.
These fools are equal,
Who will murder anyone with their wicked tongues.

Murdered by their tongues,
Some people had to run...
To find their comfort.

Threatened by a mentalness,
That spreading gossip did.
And murdered by their tongues.

Whatever between them did exist,
That ruined their happiness...
And long loving relationships,
Has been murdered by their tongues.

They've been murdered by their tongues.
Stubborn these people,
Who've been murdered by their tongues.
Unconscious people,
Who are murdered by their tongues.
These fools are equal,
Who will murder anyone with their wicked tongues.

Murdered by their tongues,
Some choose to begin to run...
To find their comfort,
And unencumbered by the numbers.

“Babaye gapula na ang parong,
Pag pahimunong”

Kung ikaw babaye may sentido common,
Indi kana maghimu sang sala nga palanublion
Isa lang kapangilay ngisi ka man dayun

Three days nga date-date “give your first kiss” ka man
Hikap dire, hikap didtu nalingaw ka man

Paranoid kana kay wala gid “1 new message receive”

7 days after 7 days,
You found out shuntis kana
Wala nagpabatyag ang laki nga upod mo ubra milagro
Ara na ang emote-emote portion mo

Te diin na? Diin kana subong?

Kag kung kis.a indi gd malikawan,

Wala ka gid matak.an mag wakal kag wala gid nagbigti,

Ga disiplina kag ga-ubay ti-on ti-on
Salamat gid sang madamo kay ako may nahampon
Kag ikaw naka handa permi sa amun

“Guardian Angel”

You’re the one who makes me happy,
When everything else turns to grey
When I needed you,
You’re always there for me

You’re the one who makes my day
Sweet and not in bitterness
You’re the one who makes my morning bright each day
And I will never regret it

You are a rare bird
Who always cares and guides me
I’m so thankful knowing that you’re always there
And most especially, knowing that you’re my guardian angel

“The inseparable”

Kuwentuhan at tawanan
Kalokohan at kamalasan
Iyakan at kabiguan
Kami ay magkakasama kahit kailan

Maging sa pagtulog at kainan,
Kasama kakaibigan
Hinding-hindi ka pababayaan
Pagka’t sa isa’t-isa’y may pagmamahalan

Papunta sa paaralan
Hanggang sa pag-uwi sa bahay,
Papunta sa simbahan hanggang sa pag-aaral
Talagang supurtado sa isa’t – isa

Sa tuwing tayo ay magkakasama,
Halakhak ay di mapigilan,
Biruan ay di mapantayan,
Ngiti ay ‘di matapos-tapos

Problema ay darating man,
Bigayanng nararapat na payo ay di makakalimutan,
Dahil kaibigan! Hinding-hindi tayo maghihiwalay
Hanggang sa tayo ay tatanda

 “Paramount of All Sins”

A proud look you always carry in anyone’s sight
Assumes as the darling and the apple of everyone’s eye
Invincible as you thought of yourself endlessly,
Like a horse with a violet saddle invanity

A deceitful witness that utter lies,
You have insatiable desire for someone’s greatness and sire
Covet anything because of your jealousy,
Like a dog that howls the green hat wears by a lady

A heart that devices wicked plots,
You never had contentment and wants something a lot
Indulge yourself to excessive liquors and pastries
Like a pig in a sty eating the orange licked-cake

Feet that are swift to run into mischief,
You crave for the pleasures of the body inordinately
Tore a woman’s soul because it had swallowed you
Like a cow mooing toward its opposite sex wearing a blue bell on its neck

Him that sow discord among brethren,
Revenge and self-destruction is your philosophy
You spurns love and opts instead for fury
Like an angry red bear lurking into something devilish

Hands that shed innocent blood
Just to own material wealth and gold
Avarice! Oh yes, you will commit murder just for a chest
Like a frog with its yellow-coin in his lips

A lying tongue,
Always reserve your body from physical work
Sitting and sleeping are your hobby
Like a goat that bear a kid, just lying down under the light-blue sky

Symbols and colors are given to you,
You don’t have a “name” you have “names” in seven
You are deadly, you’re the capital, and you’re the source
You, yourself is the cardinal sins

WHAT THE FILIPINO IS LIKE: BELIEFS AND TRADITION IN SELECTED PHILIPPINE PLAYS

WHAT THE FILIPINO IS LIKE: BELIEFS AND TRADITION IN SELECTED PHILIPPINE PLAYS

We Filipinos have different traditions and beliefs that until now are observable. Some of these beliefs and tradition are about dating, marriage, pregnancy, art, games, culture, town fiesta, relationship, courtship, and others. But I’m going to share to you guys about the tradition and beliefs of Filipinos that could only be found in selected Philippine plays: “The World is an Apple”, “New Yorker in Tondo”, “Three Rats”, “Sabina” and “Sepang Loca”
Poverty rate in the Philippines is quite increasing over the last years, and this is also the reason why some Filipinos especially their parents will do everything just to provide their basic needs and necessities. This belief is highly seen in the play “The World is an Apple” written by Alberto Florentino especially if one of our family member will get sick, there would be always someone who will look for that sick person and take care of. Another Filipino tradition that is evident in this story is on how faithful Filipinos are when it comes to religion. We always lift our esteem in prayers and praises to our God until we sometimes forget to work hard and earn something for a living. Filipinos also believe in good lucks, we grab opportunities even the wrong ones as long as there is an opportunity.
Filipinos sometimes enjoy other cultures in other countries that we end up changing our own ways even our own selves. Like Kikay in the play “New Yorker in Tondo” by Marcelino Agana Jr., we sometimes forget the beauty of being a Filipino and will later realized that the love for our country and being nationalistic still covers all. Hiya or shame is a motivating factor behind behavior and another trait we Filipinos have. It is a sense of social decency and compliant to public norms of behavior. We believe that we must live up to the accepted standards of behavior and if we fail to do so, we bring shame not only upon ourselves, but also upon our family. An example might be a willingness to spend more than we can afford on an occasion rather than be shamed by our economic situation. If we are publicly embarrassed, criticized, or do not live up to expectations, we tend to feel shame and lose self-esteem.
Filipino women are understanding and extremely patient. Some Filipina girls certainly not take part in a dispute or argument because that sort of behavior doesn’t reflect a lady and just to attain a peace of mind. Also, we are taught to speak politely, with a gentle tone of voice and arguing will never be acceptable, particularly in public. Filipino females are soft spoken, calm and understanding like the character of Nita in the play made by Wilfredo Ma. Guerero entitled “Three Rats”. But, there are only some of the Filipina today who act like this as we could observe from today’s new generations.
We also have this belief and for me it is already a norm that if a woman who will have an affair to a man who’s already married is big deal, especially we Filipinos would think that that woman is disgraceful, just like what the family of Sabina thought of her relationship with Mr. George Price in the play “Sabina”. It is a shame for the Filipino family especially those who are really sensitive to what others will say if their daughter or their female relatives will have an affair to a married man.
We Filipinos have also our own “superstitious beliefs” and added to that, the beliefs have great influence in our day to day life. Many people still believe that these superstitious beliefs can help them cope with life; although many new generations aren't affected by the beliefs and consider them only part of the old ways. The type which is shown in the play “Sepang Loca” is if a woman wants to bear a child, she should dance in a Patron saint that could make her bear one. This belief was made Sepa and in some other cases, we Filipino also believed.

"I know my ideas are limited, hope you've also saw or heard some of the beliefs and tradition I mentioned above."
